SUMS(K)RHYTHM

SUMS(K)RHYTHM is a very differently conceived Pure Percussion based Concert, which involves  a Galaxy of  Indian Traditional Percussion Instruments, Divine Ethnic instruments and Contemporary World Percussion Instruments and Electronic Gadgets.

 

SUMS(K)RHYTHM is conceived surrounding the Classical South Indian Rhythm, Indian Spiritual Values and Cultural Concepts involving Numbers and Planets, Gems from our Literary treasures in both Sumskrutham and Tamizh like the Vedas, Agamas, Bheejaksharas, Sutras, Siddhar Paadals, Tiruppugazh Sandams, Slokas (Ganesa Pancharatanam), Stotrams (Shambhu Natanam), Sthuhtis ( Lalitha Sahasranamam and Adhi Sankara's Devi Navaratnamalika), Namavalis, Concepts of Mysticism and Symbolism etc. In short, it will link Learning our Languages and Layam.
